Driving from Las Cruces, NM to Ruidoso, NM. We passed through the Organ Mountains about 11 miles east of Las Cruces. The tallest peak in the range is Organ Needle at 9,012 feet. It was hard for Chris to pay attention to driving – he had done some research on the range and found that there are a lifetime of climbing routes to be had. Perhaps we’ll be back!?
