Boundary Waters Break

With a weekend off we traded the bikes in for a canoe and headed north to the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness. Interstate Sampling

Interstate Sampling

After a month off we’ve been sampling interstates once again. This time we chose I-90 for our journey from Colorado to Wisconsin and have found it to be our favorite. Not sure why – maybe it’s the great trails we found in Rapid City, the prairie grassland landscape, or the 60ft green giant statue that we tried to track down (and never found) in Blue Earth, MN…
Our time at home was pretty great. We got to see plenty of family and friends. We also got to ride, hike, and fish. What else would you do during a typical Colorado summer? Check out this slideshow for some of the highlights.

Tomorrow we go back to work.  We’ll enjoy about six weeks in the Upper Midwest before heading south back down the eastern seaboard.  Rumor has it that the Great White North has some stellar trails.  We’re definitely looking forward to finding out for ourselves.
