Well, another year is in the books for the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews. We think (and we’re pretty sure TCC West would agree) it’s been a fantastic year.
In the process of completing 39 visits, we (TCC East) put 38,000 miles on our Subaru Outback and touched almost every state in the Eastern US. For a couple of kids from the West the experience was beyond amazing.
After leaving Miami a week ago, we’ve had some time to reflect on the success of the year while driving back to Colorado. We’ve been on countless group rides, led a plethora of field sessions, and discovered a remarkable amount of new trails (click links to see photos!). The relationships and experiences we’ve had are unforgettable. It’s exciting to think about what 2011 will bring.
To everyone who organized a visit, gave us a place to stay, kept our bellies full, or found us a place to ride – THANK YOU! We are very grateful for the mountain bike community and all others who support trails.
