Cultivation

It’s been a few days since the first USA Pro Cycling Challenge concluded and I’m still in awe. I always thought attending my first professional bike race would be chasing that yellow jersey across France, but I should now feel lucky that it happened in my home state. I’m a Colorado girl after all…

It seems like it took forever for a pro stage race to get back here. I guess it’s happened in bits and pieces since the Coors Classic, but I think everyone would now agree that it was certainly worth the wait. The cultivation of cycling culture in the US over the last decade has been exciting and it showed last week.

Rather than try to describe it in words, I’ll share my experience with some of my favorite images from stages 1, 3, and 4.  Enjoy!
