We Love Bikes. We Love Trails. We are Chris and Leslie Kehmeier.
We work for the International Mountain Bicycling Association as Trail Specialists. The path we have taken to our current job is long and winding, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Chris has a background in horticulture, golf course maintenance, and sales. Leslie is a GIS professional and self-proclaimed ‘map geek’. Together they spent the first 10 years of their marriage developing their careers in Fort Collins and Eagle County.
In 2007 we came to a crossroads in our lives and decided to explore the road less traveled. We sold our house, quit our jobs, and started a journey of a lifetime. In November of 2008 we returned from a bicycle trip around the world. After 14 countries and 10,000 kilometers our lives have been forever changed.
In 2009 we continued our travels with the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew, a grassroots advocacy program that sent us across the country for two years, helping numerous trail organizations improve their mountain bike trail opportunities.
Our perspective on life is simple – we believe in the power of bicycles, what they represent, and are certain that they can change the world.
