We’ve been trying to save a few pennies here and there, so we’ve been making our own ‘go juice’ lately. Among the many methods we have to choose from, the mini-espresso maker seems to suit us. Using our favorite little MSR Pocket Rocket we can brew up anywhere; hotel rooms, a host’s kitchen, even our campsite.

Visit the Twin Cities. Good biking, good food, great coffee! We found the mural on the side of The Angry Catfish, a new bicycle shop/cafe. We managed to hit all three of these caffiene/cycling/culture venues (One on One Studio and Cars R Coffins Cafe were the others) during our visit last week.

So the weather is finally getting to us a little bit. We drove from Memphis, TN to Birmingham, AL today and it rained most of the time. The saving grace came when we checked into our hotel and they handed us two free passes to the local Gold’s Gym.

I know that there are a lot of cool sports shops around the world (because I’ve been in many), but I have to say, the Freeheel and Wheel in West Yellowstone, MT is one of the best! To start, they have a coffee bar right inside the shop. What could be better than shopping with a hot Americano in your hand?
