For the last four years we’ve lived out of bags. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been a bad situation at all. In fact, it was part of a wonderful live changing experience in which our bags served us well. As we settle into the next part of our life, I had a moment to look back on things that kept us happy while traveling.

We recently released the first book about our bicycle travels… finally! It’s part of a four book series that chronicles our trip around the globe and beyond. The first offering, 1,000 Saturdays| New Zealand, follows the first three and a half months of our life changing adventure. Just a little over two years ago we set off for New Zealand. We had nothing but two bikes, too much gear, a little money in savings, and each other. Twenty four months and 14 countries later we still find ourselves on the road. Our mode has changed (we drive a Subaru with bikes loaded on the top), but we’re still living the bicycle life.
